COVID-19 has changed how we travel, but it hasn't curbed our passion for exploring. Here are a few tips on how to navigate travel's new challenges:

• Find out if any travel restrictions apply to your origin and destination before locking in your flight. Also check if there are any requirements you'll need to follow on arrival, such as testing and quarantining.
• Requirements state you must wear a face mask at the airport, including at screening checkpoints. Be ready to lower your mask to verify your identity when asked.
• Instead of handing a TSA agent your boarding pass, place it straight on the scanner yourself. When that's done, hold it up for inspection.
• One container of liquid hand sanitizer is now permitted in your carry-on luggage. It must be no larger than 12 oz (350 ml), and you'll have to remove it from your bag for screening.
• Empty your personal items from your pocket, such as your wallet, phone and small change, and place them in your carry-on rather than into bins. This will reduce handling during the screening process.
• Separate any food you have for X-ray scanning. Food items often trigger the alarm. Putting them in a clear plastic bag and into a bin reduces the need for a TSA officer to touch and inspect your belongings.
